Penjelasan Cause and Effect

Hi guest, kali ini kita akan belajar tentang

Cause and Effect, kamu tentunya sudah pernah mendengar Cuase and Effect bukan.

Baiklah, apa itu Cause and Effect, kalau kita terjemahkan kedalam bahasa Indonesia Cause and Effect yaitu Sebab dan Akibat.
Jadi Cause dan Effect yaitu kalimat yang menyatakan sebab dan akibat Sebab biasanya melibatkan sebuah kegiatan yang membuat sesuatu terjadi sedangkat akibat merupakan hasil dari kejadian tersebut. Sebab dan Akibat dalam bahasa Inggris menggunakan kata penghubung, seperti kata atau frase.

Dan dalam kata atau frase yang menyatakan Cause (Sebab) bisa menggunakan kata Becasue, Due to, since, the reason for. Sedangkan Effect (akibat) menggunakan kata As a result, therefore, finally, so, thus.

Cause and effect is when one event causes another to happen. There are some definitions of cause and effect.
(cause and effect ketika ada satu peristiwa yang membuat sesuatu terjadi. Ada beberapa definisi tentang Cause and Effect)

Cause
1. Why something happened. (Kenapa sesuatu itu terjadi)
2. The reason or motive for an action.(Alasan atau motif untuk suatu kejadian)
3. Happen first.(terjadi terlebih dahulu)

Example: I forgot my umbrella.

Effect
1. What happened.(Apa yang terjadi)
2. Result or conclusion of an action.(Hasil atau kesimpulan dari kajidian)
3. Happen due to a cause.(Terjadi karena sebab)

Example: I got wet.

Cause-effect relationship is a relationship which one event (the cause) makes another event happen (the effect).(Hubungan Cause and Effect adalah sebuah hubungan dimana satu peristiwa (sebab)membuat peristiwa yang lainnya terjadi)

There are three criteria of cause and effect.(ada beberapa kriteria Cuse and Effect)

1. The cause has to precede the effect in time. The cause has to occur before the effect.
    (Sebab hendaknya didahulukan. sebab terjadi sebelum akibat)
2. There has to be an empirical relationship between the cause and effect. Whenever the cause
     happens, the effect must also occur.
     (Harus ada hubungan yang nyata anatar sebab dan akibat.  ketika sebab itu terjadi maka harus di          ikuti dengaan kaibat)
3. This relationship cannot be explained by other factors.
     (hubangan ini tidak dapat dijelaskan dengan faktor yang lain)

Cause and effect is a common way to organize information in a text.  A text structured as cause and
explains reasons why something happened or the effects of something. The paragraphs can  be ordered as causes and effects or as effects and then causes. The cause and effect text structure is
generally used in expository and persuasive writing models.


Look at the example below!

Students are not allowed to chew gum in my class. While some students think that I am just being mean, there are many good reasons for this rule. First, some irresponsible students make messes with their gum.They may leave it on the bottoms of desks, drop it on the floor, or put it on other people's property. Another reason why I don't allow students to chew gum is because it is a distraction. When  they are allowed to chew gum, students are more worried about having it, popping it, chewing it, and snapping it when they are in listening, writing, reading, and learning. This is why I don't allow students to chew gum in my class.
